Torrance's POV
After the owner of the house I'm renting left I sunk down into the nearest chair, thinking of Nick and drifting off into a deep sleep.
I was walking along the beach, in my pastel purple sundress and flipflops, when I saw this beautiful muscular man, in blue jeans, tennis shoes and no shirt, walking towards me. I stopped and stared at him. When he paused in front of me, I held my breathe.
He reached out taking my hand and kissed it, he said. "Your hair shines like the sun on a summers day, your eyes are like looking into a deep pool of chocolate , and your beauty takes my breathe away." He brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it lightly then placed it back by my side. I blushed a deep red.
"What is your name, lovely lady?"
I swallowed hard, and nervously said, "Torrance...Torrance Falcon."
"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He smiled the most handsome smile I have ever seen in my life. "I am Nick Travers. Lovely to meet you, my dear lady. May I ask you something?"
I nodded, I was absolutely speechless around this man. "May I take you on a date?"
"Umm..." I blushed and looked at the ground. "I would like that." I gave him my number and let him walk me back to my car. I went home and he called me 2 days later to set up our first date.
****************************************
Our first date:
He picked me up at precisely 8:35 pm. Refusing to tell me where we were going. We pulled up to a small italian restaurant, Santorino's Italiano, over looking the beach.
We were seated outside to over look the exact place we had met. I couldn't believe he had noticed that.
The table had a white table cloth with two candles lit. A bottle of wine cooling and wine glasses. He pulled my chair out for me and as I sat down the song She's my Kind of Rain by Tim Mcgraw came across the restaurant stereo.
Nick walked around and sat in front of me reaching across the table taking my hand. "You've made me the happiest man alive agreeing to come on this date with me. There is something about you, Torrance." I smiled, my heart racing a million miles a minute. "I feel the same about you, Nick. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something that draws me to you."
We ordered our food, ate, and chatted throughout the evening. After, finishing our delicious food, we decided to take a walk along the beach together this time.
The evening came to an end and Nick drove me home, walking me to my door. Taking my hand yet again and kissing it. "Good night, my lady." He went home and I went inside exhausted and exhilirated.
I woke up a few hours later to find it was all a dream again. It felt so real. Like I was back in Nick's arms again. I sighed and had fresh tears stream down my face.
