Torrance's POV
As I woke up the next morning, having slept through the night, I realized I was still curled up in a ball on my livingroom floor. I sighed, then screamed out in pain caused by my broken rib. I rolled onto my knees and elbows trying to will myself up out of the floor.
After 20 minutes of fighting the pain, I stood up by pulling myself off the floor by the chair. I stayed bent over some to ease the pain in my side. I can't believe Parker actually hit me. He's always treated me bad and put bruises on me but never actually hit me.
I limped into the bathroom down the hallway. Barely able to take a shower. I washed the best I could considering I couldn't move without screaming out in pain.
I finally got out, drying off, and pulling on some dry clean clothes. I walked out of the house and down the path that led to my front door, into town.
I found my way to the local motel asking the clerk if there was a Nick Travers staying there, that it was urgent I speak with him. When he told me no, I proceeded to ask if Damien Corner lived close by.
After getting directions to Damiens place, I hurried as fast as I was able to out of town to the small townhouse he was living in. I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer.....
