Taking It Slow

Torrance's POV

Nick pulled back from me enough to look at my face, "Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow night?" I was shocked. He really wanted to try and start over or get back to where we were but slowly.

"Really? I would love to, Nick." I told him with a smile. I couldn't believe I was going on a first date with him again. I guess dreams really do come true.

"I can pick you up at your place...It can be like a real date. I think if we are going to do this..to try this we should do it slowly."

I nodded. "I agree. A real date." I chuckled "Our first date, again."

"Maybe without all the awkwardness this time around." He smiled at me and winked remembering how nervous they both had been. "Yes, that will be nice." It felt so good to be in his arms though, I just didn't want to let him go. "Hmm..since we're starting over maybe I should let go of you and keep my hands to myself?" I grinned, knowing that would be damn near impossible.

He laughed, "You can try." He smiled at me crookedly, but doesnt let me go.

I stood there a moment then acted like I was going to pull away, then tightened my arms around him. "Not possible."

He laughed again, "Ok, how about I make you a deal? You let go now...and maybe tomorrow we can come back here..or go to your place and watch a movie after dinner?"

"Hmm..." I thought about it. "Ok, deal." Reluctantly, I let go of him and stepped back.

He pulled me to him again quickly and kissed her on the mouth before letting go again, "Ok...I'll see you tomorrow night then?"

He leaves me breathless everytime he kisses me. "Mmm..see you tomorrow, Nick." I walked passed him to the door, glancing back at him one last time before walking out the door.

He leaned against the door frame and watched me until he couldn't see me anymore.
